5.)Virginia Tech Linebacker Lyndell Gibson will miss the Orange Bowl due to shoulder surgery.
6.)Mississippi Secretary of State is investingating Cam Newton case under auspices of the Agent Act.

The BCS Bowl selections will be announced at 8pm on ESPN tonight. Here are my projections.
BCS National Championship: #2 Oregon vs #1 Auburn
Discover Orange Bowl: Connecticut vs #15 Virginia Tech
Tostitos Fiesta Bowl: #9 Oklahoma vs #4 Stanford
Allstate Sugar Bowl: #7 Arkansas vs #6 Ohio State
Vizio Rose Bowl Game: #5 Wisconsin vs #3 TCU
Prognosticators and media officials alike are predicting Iowa will face Nebraska in the Insight Bowl.
